Dress Code
Brothers, this year we are again going to support our local VA Hospital; it is only through the sacrifice of our veterans that we can enjoy the freedom that we have today.
Until further notice the dress code will be business casual for those who bring a donation item. Acceptable
items are:
Package of Socks
Package of T-shirts
Pair of Pajama bottoms
Pair of Slippers
Toiletries (tooth brush, tooth paste, soap, deodorant)
Package of Men's Underwear
Remember, they sacrificed a lot so we can be free to meet as Masons.
Tux / Suit / Jacket will be required for all degree work.
From The East
Past Masters, Officers and Brothers,
Brother's all, I would like to start this month's message from the East, by thanking everyone
who worked on the merger between St. John's and Christiana. It was an outstanding job well
done. I would also like to thank all the members of St. John's Lodge #2 for their support
in welcoming the members of Christiana #35 into their new home.
I would also like to thank everyone for all the generous donations to the VA Hospital. We were
able to make a generous donation to the Coffee Fund in the amount of $500.00 as well as the
clothing donations which amounted to well over $700.00 dollars.
We also just had some of the most outstanding degree work ever done when we passed Brother
Ventura Jr. to the degree of Fellow Craft. R.W. Thomas J. Ventura Sr, PM, PJGW., assumed the
East after the Lodge was opened and RW Deputy Grand Master Richard McTheny assumed the Senior
Warden position. That was a night to remember!
Summer is coming and I know everyone is looking forward to getting outside and enjoying their
favorite summer activities, before that happens come out and enjoy your Lodge. Come share
Friendship Morality and Brotherly Love.

MEET AND GREET PICNIC – On Saturday, May 17, 2025, St. John's lodge will have a Meet and Greet picnic to welcome
the brothers from Christiana Lodge #35, and further cement the merger between the 2 lodges. Please come out and enjoy the brotherhood.
MASTER MASON DEGREE – On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the Officers of St. John's Lodge No 2 will confer
the Master Mason degree on a worthy Fellowcraft. Lodge will be open at 7:30pm sharp. Take due notice and govern yourselves accordingly.
ST. JOHN'S BLOOD DRIVE – On June 14, 2025, St. John's Lodge, will be holding a blood drive at the Lodge from 9am until 1pm.
Please come out and support this life saving measure
FROM THE SECRETARY – There are still several brothers that have not paid their 2024 or 2025 dues as of yet. If you do not have a 2025 dues card in
your wallet, then you are most likely one of the aforementioned brothers. Contact the secretary if you are unsure.
FACEBOOK – St. John's Lodge has a Facebook page which enables us to spread some announcements and pictures pertaining to the lodge
faster. If you have a Facebook account, "Like" us to get informed quicker!
ASSISTANCE – Please notify us if you know of any member who is ill or in need of assistance.
GOOD OF MASONRY –If any Brethren have anything to offer for the good of masonry for future issues of the Trestle Board, please
