Stated Communication

From The East

Brethren,

As this is the last communication for the masonic year we hope you have a safe and enjoyable summer as our community and social lives begin to open up again. Reflecting back 2 years from when I was first installed in the East we can't help but notice the world is a very different place. The only constant thing we can be sure of is change. Our relationships whether they be familial, professional, social or fraternal have been strained or strengthened by the experiences of society, politics and current events. The one thing we can be sure of is that Freemasonry still survives. It has been an anchor during these tempestuous times and has strengthened the bonds

of brotherhood like no other fraternity or organization could.

I would like to thank all the officers, bothers and their families who have given so much support these past 2 years. I also owe a debt of gratitude to my wife Jean who has given so much time, patience, understanding and support. All of you have improved the experience at the lodge.

Finally to all the brethren, I hope to see you come out and participate in future events. Join a committee, event team, work party or any other activity. The lodge should be an experience, not a spectator sport, and we need involvement of all members. Thank you all and I hope to see you after the summer break.

Fraternally Yours,
W∴M∴ Joseph Schulze

CANCELLED -Oklahoma Masonic Indian Degree Team

From The Library

A Pilgrim's Path

Carried by the strength of his thorough research on the background, characteristics, and current challenges of Freemasonry, author John J. Robinson, who became a Mason later in life, goes into incredible detail debunking the common misconceptions

about Freemasonry in his concise, compelling examination of the organization. In 178 pages, A Pilgrim's Path sets the record straight for apprehensive readers hoping to better understand the reality of Freemasonry by chronicling the history of the attacks against the organization and the motives behind the attacks. In doing so, he discusses the origins of Freemasonry, its principles, and its goals.
