What joy! Spring has officially arrived. Easter is just around the corner and the Easter candy will flow. This, my wife says, is the last thing I need!
On a more somber note, Herbert P. Fulmer, Past Grand Master and Grand Secretary, has been called to be at the Supreme Grand master's side. We have lost
a just and upright man and Mason. Closer to home, John D. "Dave" Chadwick was also summoned by the Supreme Grand Master of the Universe. Long before I
became a Mason, Dave was my mentor in the career I have followed for forty six years. He was a great guy and friend and will be sorely missed. May
the Great Architect of the Universe, watch over Brothers Dave and Herbert, until we meet again.
The Semi-Annual Communication of Grand Lodge was held on March 25th with seven of our lodge brothers in attendance. R. W. Deputy Grand Master
John W. "Nucc" Maranuci has been elected to the Grand Master's position for next year. Congratulations to all Grand Staff members in their
new roles for the coming year. St. John's Lodge also captured the Traveling Gavel by having the most members of any lodge
present. All District Two Lodges are invited to visit to attempt to capture this prize!
Brother Eric Comley has been raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. As Eric is a first responder, the Shield and Square Club conferred the degree.
Great job, my brothers! Congratulations, Eric!
At our February stated communication, Brother Dave Kampfer paid St. John's a visit. Brother Kampfer hails from Trenton/Wyandotte Masonic
Lodge #8 in Trenton, Michigan. As he now resides in Delaware, David may soon become a member of the St. John's family.
There are two upcoming events for this month. We are having a "Fun Night" on Saturday, April 1st, at 6 PM. Adults and children are invited.
Come out and enjoy a few hours with your lodge family.
On April 29th, we are having a Ladies Night from 7 to 10 PM. Wine, painting and guest vendors will be featured. Look to our website for more
information on both events.
As always, I look forward to seeing my brothers at lodge. Come on out and spend a few hours of friendship and brotherly love.

OFFICER POSITIONS – We need a member to fill the position of Secretary for the upcoming year. Please contact the WM if you are interested in
that position or any line officer position at the lodge.
Your lodge needs lodge officers. Becoming a lodge officer is a rewarding opportunity. Not only
are you helping the lodge but as you learn the different parts of the degree work you gain a better understanding of each degree. The meanings of the degree
becomes clearer making you a better Mason and man! Talk to the Worshipful Master and ask what you could do for your lodge.
2ND SATURDAY COFFEE – The monthly 2nd Saturday Social will be on Saturday, April 8th. This is an informal get together of
Masons from accross the state to intereact without a scrip or agenda.
FAMILY FUN NIGHT – Saturday, April 1st from 6pm to 9pm. Bring your favorite game, some snacks and drinks to share or chip in for pizza and enjoy a night of family fun! Bring your kids, grandkids, friends and family!
LADIES NIGHT – Saturday, April 29th from 7pm to 10pm. $30.00 per ticket. Wine, hors d'oeuvres, painting, door prizes and on hand shopping with Mary Kay, 31, Tastefully Simple and LuLu LaRue and more!
PAST MASTER'S LUNCHEON – Sunday, April 30th at 2pm. The invitations have been mailed. If you are a Past Master of this lodge and have not recieved your invitation, please email Steve Sabourin, PM.
DUES NOTICE – Dues for 2017 are now due, please submit promptly to avoid late charges
