Worshipful Master's Message - Jan. 2012 Trestleboard
Brothers,
As we come to the end of another year we should all reflect on the past year and ask ourselves did we act on the plumb & level and truly part on the square as true masons. If called upon by the Lord would we hear those words “well done good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of the Lord”.
Most of us, if not all us entered masonry to make ourselves better men and squarer stones but we should ask ourselves, have we accomplished this? This past year did we subdue, act, keep, maintain, and practice as we have all promised. As none of us are perfect, we can all improve on that most important structure, the temple which is our lives. As with all things, there is a beginning and an end and so as we end this year we will start another. Let us not squander this opportunity to build upon the great foundation for our temples. We should all make an attempt to improve ourselves personally and well as Masonically. We should all know that we all have an impact in our lodge and to the future of Masonry. Coming out to lodge is the best way to show your love and support for the fraternity and to provide a future for the craft. I want to challenge all of you to come to lodge at least one time this coming year to re-affirm your commitment to the craft.
May the Grand Artificer look upon you and bless you for evermore.
Fraternally yours,
Thomas J Ventura Sr., PJGW
