Dress Code
I am supporting the veterans at our VA Hospital and their needs. Until further notice the dress code
will be business casual for those who bring a donation item. The donation items are as follows:
Package of Socks
Package of T-shirts
Pair of Pajama bottoms
Pair of Slippers
Toiletries (tooth brush, tooth paste, soap, deodorant)
Package of Men's Underwear.
Remember they sacrificed a lot so we can be free to meet as masons.
Tux / Suit / Jacket will be required for all degree work.

I guess it is safe to say winter is over and spring has sprung. It is funny how spring time marks the beginning of
a lot of
things but it is the ending of a Masonic year...June is coming fast.
I'd like to happily announce that Herman Williams passed his proficiency on the Master Mason degree and is
on his final steps to the East. Congratulations Herman!!
At our April stated communication we will be drawling the winners of our fundraising committee raffle. 1st Prize
is a 12 gauge Berretta A300 semi‐automatic shotgun w/ 28inch barrel & 2nd Prize is 250 rounds of 9MM Remington
Range ammunition. We only have a few tickets left!
Do you know a Masonic widow? Please invite them to come out to our widow’s brunch on April 7, 2024 from
11:00 AM ‐ 2:00 PM. Just let me know so we have a good head count.
My brothers, your lodge can always use your support, ideas, and suggestions to keep us growing and moving
forward...get active!

2ND ANNUAL WIDOWS BRUNCH – St. John's Lodge will be holding the 2nd Annual Widows Brunch in
honor of the wives of our departed brethren. This brunch will take plac on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 11am until 2pm
at the New Castle Masonic Hall. This is an opportunity to ackowledge the sacrifice that these ladies made in support of
their Masonic husbands and for us to let them know that they are still appreciated. If you know of any Masonic widow,
please invite them to join us. This is not just for the widows of St. John's members, this is for all masonic
widows where soever dispersed.
ENTERED APPRENTICE DEGREE – The officers of St. John's Lodge will be conferring the EA degree on our
newest candidate. The degree will start promptly at 7:30pm and all masons in good standing, coming from a lodge
recognized by the Grand Lodge of Delaware, are welcome to attend.
FROM THE SECRETARY – There are still several brothers that have not paid their 2023 and/or 2024 dues as of yet. If you do not have a 2024 dues card in
your wallet, then you are most likely one of the aforementioned brothers. Contace the secretary if you are unsure.
FACEBOOK – St. John's Lodge has a Facebook page which enables us to spread some announcements and pictures pertaining to the lodge
faster. If you have a Facebook account, "Like" us to get informed quicker!
ASSISTANCE – Please notify us if you know of any member who is ill or in need of assistance.
GOOD OF MASONRY –If any Brethren have anything to offer for the good of masonry for future issues of the Trestle Board, please
