Stated Communication

Dress Code

This year I am supporting Bro Rev. Bill Downey and Chocolate Night. Bro Rev. Bill Downing and his wife, Marty, work with local churches to identify families without the financial means to provide a Christmas for their children. These families fall between the cracks. They make too much money to qualify for or get assistance but not enough to be able to provide gifts during the holidays.
So that means if you want to ditch the jacket and tie at our stated communications, you must bring a toy, gift card or cash donation.

From The East

Brothers,
Thank you for electing me as Master of St. John's Lodge No 2.

Another Masonic year is about to begin and I hope to see you all in lodge or at a lodge sponsored event.

We are again going to begin our Masonic year with a Community Service Day. We will be proving a free lunch for our first responders and community service folks...all police, fire. EMS, 911, corrections officers. We had a fantastic turnout last year and hope you come out to help support this event.

The officer kept themselves busy over the summer and put on the 1st Annual St. John's Lodge No 2 Car Show. The lead heads of the event were Bro Dale Willey and Bro Sec Robert Wright, and they knocked it out of the park! This we a huge team effort. PMs Joe and Kyle Schulze, Bro John Hohing, Bro Bruce Williams, and Bro Ross Killeen manned the grill / food service. The ladies of the lodge greeted and took entries, worked the action/raffle and 50/50 drawings. PM Denny Wilson, Bro Robert Daniels and his lovely lady donated ice scream for our guest for donations. Greg Schulze PM, Frank Hartsell PM, Bro Herman Williams, Bro Karl Hitchens, and Bro Mark Wilson helped wherever needed. This was truly a team effort, thanks my brothers!!

I want St. John's No 2 to stand out as the great lodge that it is, but I can't do it without your help!! Remember that you get out of masonry what you put into it. If you want to make a change or have an event idea, come out and get involved with your lodge! We need ideas, as well as brothers to support and execute these ideas. You don't need to be an officer to get involved, all members are welcome to contribute.

Remember we must support other lodges with attendance, as well as supporting their Grand Lodge Visits and special events. You cannot expect brothers from other lodges to support and visit your lodge if we don’t support and visit their lodges.

There are always events / meeting happening throughout the state, just go to the Grand lodge website and check their calendar and ask a brother to go.

Hope to see you soon my brothers!!

Fraternally Yours,
W∴M∴ Stephane G. Sabourine,PM
