Stated Communication

Dress Code

This year I am supporting Bro Rev. Bill Downey and Chocolate Night. Bro Rev. Bill Downing and his wife, Marty, work with local churches to identify families without the financial means to provide a Christmas for their children. These families fall between the cracks. They make too much money to qualify for or get assistance but not enough to be able to provide gifts during the holidays.
So that means if you want to ditch the jacket and tie at our stated communications, you must bring a toy, gift card or cash donation.

** NOTICE NOTICE **
Prior to our regular communication, there will be a meeting of all grand lodge members and wardens at 7:15 pm. Take due notice and govern yourselves accordingly.

From The East

Past Masters, Officers,
Members and Brothers,

Another fantastic month has passed, and masonry, fellowship and fun prevailed. St. John's had another successful event with our outdoor movie night. 20+ movie goers came out and enjoyed the evening with popcorn and theater candy while watching the new Disney Haunted Mansion. As always, thanks for all the help and support...can't do it without all of you.

And just like that summer is over, Fall is here, with old man winter making his approach. November kicks off the holidays with the thought of giving thanks for all that we have. It is also a time to think of those less fortunate, those who have lost loved ones or those in need of assistance. As charity and community service are fundamental to Freemasonry, this is a good time to look for ways to serve. This is also a good month to consider your obligation to your lodge and catch up on activities and projects that you may be able to help out with. Come out and support new brothers at their raising, assist current brothers with maintenance and upkeep, and make sure you are up to date with your dues.

** OFFICIAL NOTICE **
At our next meeting we will be discussing the possibility of another lodge merging with St. John's no. 2. We will have an open discussion and establish a committee to explore the possibility.

Hope to see you in lodge!!

Fraternally Yours,
W∴M∴ Stephane G. Sabourine,PM
