Special Communication - November 7, 2007

On November 7, 2007, Worshipful Master Herbert J. Atkinson opened lodge for the purpose of raising Fellowcraft Mark Sturgis to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. W:.M:. Atkinson handed over the gavel to brother Jim Hutchinson, PSGD, of Solomon Lodge to perform the degree. Worship Brother Hutchinson is a close friend of Brother Sturgis and was honored to be able to confer the degree.

On hand for the degree were several brothers from other lodges in Delaware including Solomon Lodge and Jackson Lodge. All came to congratulate their friend Mark and to show tier support to Brother Hutchinson. Also on the side line was Brother Sturgis' uncle Ralph, who is one of a long list of family members that are members of our lodge.
