Fraternal greetings and welcome to St. John's Lodge No 2, A.F. & A.M. of Delaware!
We are located in New Castle Delaware on Wilmington road, just outside Historic New Castle and down the street from the
Delaware Memorial Bridge.
Hiram Lodge 25 MM Degree
The Officers of Hiram Lodge 25 will confer the Master Mason Degree on FC John Rolfe. The degree will be
held at Jefferson Lodge's building in Lewes on May 1st, 2025 at 7:30pm. Dinner will begin at 6:30pm.
John retired from the Delaware State Police as a Sergeant in 2008 and has since
been employed by Wilmington University as the Adjunct Program Coordinator for their Masters of
Criminal Justice degree program. John is a US Army veteran and served in the 82nd Airborne Division
before joining DSP. Our goal is to fill the lodge for this degree!
Beef‐n‐Beer Veteran's Charity Fundraiser
The Ionic Lodge #31 Beef‐n‐Beer Veteran's Charity Fundraiser is a little over a month
away (May 31st) and there is still work to do getting the word out and getting tickets sold. There
have been many lodge members working in the background knocking on the doors of businesses looking for
sponsors, making decoration plans, putting the food menu together, gathering raffle baskets, etc. In
addition, the Elks Club is offering a great deal on the use of their venue, as is the band.
The music for the evening will be provided by our own Ionic Brother, keyboardist Fred Dawson along with
his band Club Phred. Club Phred has helped to raise in excess of $6,000,000 for
55+ charities since 2003. They have backed Mark Farner (of Grand Funk Railroad), Felix Cavaliere
(The Young Rascals) and the horn section from The Blues Brothers and David Letterman Show as well as
many others. Winning multiple "best local band" from various publications, Club Phred is a
great crowd pleaser that will "rock and roll" you for the evening.
WM Jim WHite is asking for your help in spreading the word, selling tickets and finding potential
sponsors (see flyer).
As a fraternity we do good work for our communities and in this case we are hoping to do the same for a
worthy veteran's charity (https://www.whwonline.org)
So again...if you can help out that would be great...and if you could attend as well that would be even
better. The tickets are reasonably priced and you get dinner, live music and all the beer you can drink.

Delaware DeMolay
Delaware DeMolay will be again teaming up with the Jurisdiction of Maryland
for our annual DeMolay Conclave to be held at Salisbury
University on July 10-13, 2025. As in the past they have asked for your help
with sponsoring some of the expenses and you have always come through.
There are several opportunities for you to sponsor (please see the link below) by
becoming a sole sponsor of one of the events or a partial sponsor. Either way will
help the DeMolay keep the cost down for the young men to attend. If you have any
